I just passed my test this week and got the MT09 I can’t believe how quick it is 😂I’m tempted to get an SC project exhaust, but this sounds amazing too!
I had the Carbon edition on my Gen2 MT09, When i got it flashed my tunings shop told me it was a great exhaust, made better numbers than the Akrapovic w. cat.. 124,11 on the rear wheel and was sounding great, louder than the Carbon akrapovic too! and for ye half the price.. exhaust was still in good shape after 26.000km and 4 years of riding. Value for money right there!
@@rawsoundrider The cool thing is you can replace everything, the carbon shell, inside wrap, end cap. But i found the Catalyc was poor and after the tune it was blown out.. Maybe because the bike ran lean "all Yamahas do that from fabric".. DB killer was also bad design, lost 22 hp.. so i modified it, and ended up loosing only 7hp with it on.. But part from that it was a good deal. Enjoy Stay safe!
If you remember I was debating between an MT-09 and a Z900. I finally bought a Z900 with an SC project exhaust, i bought it 3 hours ago. The bike is a little bit heavier than an MT-09 but i don't really feel it compared to the Hayabusa's weight, I don't really mind. I liked the riding position on the MT-09, it's okay for the Z900. The engine sounds more linear on the Z900, that is all i noticed right now. I might have to wear earplugs, the sound of the exhaust is extremely loud. I also like the braking system.
I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on this one. I went to a Yamaha dealer to see it up close and I just can't get my head around to the fact of how small of a bike this is even compared to my Versys 650... I' m definitely booking a test ride
awesome sounding exhaust, i have already ordered one for my brand new MT-09 SP that's coming soon. Always been an Akra fan but they are getting too pricey at this point. Ordered the Power carbon de-cat. i don't think i am going to regret it :D
When I was a kid my favorite exhausts for my mopeds were from Polini and Minelli. There is also an italian brand named "SC project" I believe, they sound good.
I will probaly change the exhaust on my gen 3 2022 MT-09, the roads italia sounds crispy as hell...holyyyyy.... One question tho, are the exhaust pipes turning blue/purple ( does it become discolored as a result of the heat of the exhaust going through the pipes ? ) An other question would be if the exhausts pops and bangs? For example if you let go of the throttle? I think i heared it in the vid or no? Best regards from germany brother! Ride safe
Hello my friend! Pipes are not titanium so do not change color under heat. Yes! You heard well, bangs a lot while upshifting, downshifting and throttle release... Pure pleasure🍻✌🏻

@@olis6823 Big factor: the price. Roads Italia cost half the price of big exhaust brands, just beacause it's small growing company. Was tempted for Leovince too aesthetic speaking, but the sound is way better on Roads Italia imo.
i got it over 2 months ago exactly the same one with the carbon canister without cat and dB killer. Pipes are much more better and beautiful than the acrapovic , cannister is little from the old school but the music it produces i couldn't believe it until now. there is nothing so similar to F1 sound. The bike works perfet, shifter up and down unbelievable. I check AFR with stock air filter and only the exhaust installed it is almost perfect, only at the top is little rich but with the DB killer in is too rich. only 600 euros.😜
It depends on what type of video you want to create(pure sound, motovlog etc), budget at your disposal, POV? 360 from behind? Your question is too generic😅

If you were born in the 80's or early 90's, it looks natural. Everything sport-bike was side-mounted. The modern stuff in my opinion is too tiny, goofy, expensive, and doesn't produce deep quality sounds. I never cared for the belly or side-exit stuff, or the raspy loud obnoxious noises. Young people getting into bikes don't have an ear for sound quality, as tons of comments on RUclips on terrible sounding exhaust systems are all praising how awesome they sound. If that's the only example you have, you could be lead to believe it I guess. I come from an era where side-mount exhausts had oval or round canisters, large amount of sound packing, flow-through design, and the sound was deep, tuned, rich, beautiful, and not crazy loud. Hard to find that sort of design these days.

Depends on the exhaust, but usually if it's euro 5 street legal with cat, you don't need to do the ECU flash.
